Spring 2014

It's been a busy few months here at NEC! In March Allie and Meg took part in the Ontario Has Talent clinic with Gina Smith at Dunraven Farm in Newmarket. Shaq and Waterford were super and it was a great experience!

Show season started with the KLDA Gold show in Bethany where Allie rode her first Young Rider tests and Rhonda moved up to fourth level with Dom! At the Ottawa Dressage Festival, Rhonda won her fourth level classes and was second in another, Allie rode her new Young Rider Freestyle to finish fourth, Sheila and Ruby had scores up to 66% at first level and Meg and Shaq made their debut as a team at second level.

The following week we headed off to Palgrave to Cornerstone's Spring into Dressage show. Allie rode some lovely Prix. St Georges tests in huge classes and Meg was AA Reserve Champion at Second Level with scores up to 74.6%!! We would also like to congratulate Sophie on the purchase of the lovely Holsteiner mare, Franceska!

In July, Aliy will be on her way to Lexington, Kentucky for her second year in a row as Shadow Chef d'Equipe at the North American Junior Young Rider Championships for the Canada East Dressage Teams.
