Wecome Spring and Show Season!

It was a very busy winter here at NEC, with lots of riding and preparation for our upcoming show season in 2009!  Over the winter, we were thrilled to purchase a new Titan 4 Horse Trailer that make our travelling to shows much easier for horses and riders--but mostly for Carney!

Thanks to the generous clients and friends here at NEC, Carney and Aliy were surprised with a new sign for the farm when they returned home from vacation in South Carolina.

We have also added a new outdoor washstall/grooming area, it was installed by Paul Fitzgerald who is also responsible for all of our fencing installation and repairs around the farm.

Our Jane Savoie Clinic is quickly approaching, we are fillng up very quickly with auditors so please go to the Events page to pre-register and reserve a seat. We do also have 1 or 2 last minute riding spots that have opened up.

We had our first show of the season at Spiritwood at the end of April and despite the cold temperatures, everyone had fantastic rides: Rhonda Burke with her Don Deimos was Training Level AA champion at their first show together, Meg with NEC's Tempo Primo won 3 out of 4 of her classes, Addie made her debut at First Level with great scores and a Reserve Championship and Lea with First Lady won their First Level Open class. We were thrilled with all of the horses! We will be having riders showing at the Discovery, Silver and Gold shows this year so it promises to keep us busy!

Congratulations also go out to Justin Li and Ginette Sheen who, at the Cadora Banquet were awarded with their stall plaques- Justin for being the top placed Junior at the Silver Training Level for Ontario and Ginette for finishing fourth in Ontario at the Silver Training AA Level.

We continue to anxiously await our newest addition, the foal who is now rather overdue, sired by Regardez out of our TB mare "Heidi"!
